Ok lets cut right to it. This amp is just gorgeous. Even if it sounded like complete garbage it could sell just for it’s looks. We received word via Instagram back before Winter NAMM 2015 that Duesenberg was going to be launching a new amplifier and we cannot be more impressed. Building off of the super cool retro styling in their guitars Duesenberg has take the same design philosophy and craftsmanship and created an incredibly hott looking amp and cabinet called the “Berlin.
“The frame of this amp is made from wood which we then painted with a thin layer of metal particles. The metal coat is then processed and aged by hand, giving it the distinctive rusty patina which makes each build completely unique.” – Quote from Duesenberg
The cabinet is made from lightweight multi-ply birch and is painted and processed the same way as the amp itself. It has a semi open back and houses a Celestion Alnico Gold 8 Ohm Speaker with 50W power handling.
