Irvine, CA (June 15, 2016) — Bad Cat Tube Amplifiers is pleased to announce the official release of the Cub 15R and Cub 40R amps from their new USA Player Series. Bad Cat applied proven efficiency techniques across the board at their facility in Irvine, CA to produce the American boutique industry’s first affordable handwired tube amplifier made from top shelf components.
The Cub 15R and 40R are the first models to be added to Bad Cat’s new USA Player Series. This line was created to bring the premium quality and sound Bad Cat is known for within the financial reach of working musicians.
The Cub 15R and 40R feature the exact same custom parts and components as Bad Ca’s Legacy Series point- to-point Cub IIIR amplifier. The only difference being the components are mounted in through-hole fashion on a triple layer mil-spec PCB template to reduce assembly time. Jacks and switches are chassis mounted for durability.
